Ingredients
6 Bratwurst (These were Apple Cider Brats from Bostrom Farms)
6 Fresh Rolls (These were fresh made from Martusciellos Bakery)
3 Small Red Onions
1 Cup IPA (This was Jalapeno IPA from Twin Elder Brewery)
1 Cup White Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Pickling Spice (This was from F.Oliver’s)
1 Teaspoon Granulated Garlic
Olive Oil, as needed
Pub Mustard, as needed
IPA Pickled Onions (prepare in advance)
Bring IPA, Vinegar, Pickling Spice and Granulated Garlic to a boil
While waiting for brine to boil, peel and slice red onion
Once boiled, remove from heat and add onions
Let sit for at least 15 minutes, however a minimum of an hour is recommended
Bratwurst (grill, assemble, and enjoy!)
Split Rolls and drizzle with Olive Oil
Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, until juices run clear
When Bratwurst are nearly done, place Rolls on grill or in oven until golden brown
Assemble all components and drizzle with Maggie’s Pub Mustard
